The Hollywood Walk of Fame (HWOF) was established in 1960 by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. The HWOF's Los Angeles location is at 6233 Hollywood Boulevard. It consists of 2,711 stars embedded into the sidewalk along Hollywood Boulevard. To become a HWOF member, you need to submit a name to Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. They then submit your details to the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.
